posted 1 year agoHello,
I am trying to learn Spring Reactor Core by trying to follow an article from 'JavaPro' 1/18
However I cannot make the asynch examples work
Why is the following code not producing any output?
Many thanks,
Hans

Please provide full URL of articles/site so that this can be put into it's correct context. Not only that it will allow us to try this out exactly as posted on the original site.

But you have to subscribe to the magazine (for free) to be able to download the pdf version.
Site and magazine are German.
But I copied the posted code directly from the pdf.

posted 1 year agoFor this first posting this seems to work:You need to call a collection method such as then() or log() to activate the subscription methods.
It appears as though then() only activates subscribe once where as log() activates subscribe more then once.

posted 1 year agoFor your second code block you need to call a collector method.
Previously you could call a 'block()' method.
However, the reactive project has been updated since and they removed that method.
You are using reactor 3. What version is being used by the tutorials you are using?
